Tip of the Month for December

Ok, here is something that you may or may not know…. YOUR COMPUTER HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED OUT IN QUITE SOME TIME! What do I mean by cleaned out you might ask!

Over time, your PC accumulates massive amounts of temporary internet files, temporary program files, unused hotfix uninstaller, etc. You do not need them on your hard drive, in fact, the temporary internet files folder can cause problems with web browsing if it is too full.

Here is a program that will help CCleaner! Click on the CCleaner link to download it. Installing this program and running it will surely make your life much easier. After the install is complete open up CCleaner.

The opening screen will look like this:

Click on “Run” and OK. CCleaner can run for quite a long time, so be patient. It is good to

get in the habit of running ccleaner once every two or three weeks. For a quick shortcut on running ccleaner, right click the recycle bin and click “Run CCleaner” as shown below:
